Today is the Winter Solstice. That means there are only six months to go until the Summer Solstice. More importantly, after today, the day starts getting longer again.
I miss sunlight.

Yeah! Dark afternoons are depressing.
You and me both. 🙁 I don’t like having my headlights on at 1pm in the afternoon. Or feeling like temperatures above 40* F are warm.
Throw in a head cold (trying to become a chest cold) and the past few days have been positively dreary.
Is it possible for something to be positively dreary? That just sounds contradictory. Not as blatantly contradictory as, for example, “corporate ethics” I suppose; but still, it seems odd to pair the word “positive” with the negative connotations of “dreary.”
The important thing though is that tomorrow will be a longer (and thus brighter) day. WooHoo!
